Torah Dedication

It's been too long since we posted anything. A lot's been going on. I hope we can get more up here soon.

This link was a recent event here in Phoenix. A torah scroll which was brought from Israel was dedication at Ohr Hatorah congregation. It was a festive event. The scroll is Sephardic - it belongs to an Iraqi Jewish family who escaped Iraq in 1950. They have the custom of invalidating the scroll by separating two of the parchments before shipping it so some of the pictures show it being sewn back together.
